It's pretty tough to find a game that is more fun than DEK Hockey, in large part because it's a fast-paced, exciting sport that can be played by individuals of all ages and skill sets.

DEK Hockey is an action-packed sport that offers participants a fantastic opportunity to get some exercise in a fun and competitive environment. It's also one of the most affordable activities around, so there's really no excuse not to play!

  DEK HOCKEY LEAGUES

2008- Spring COED League   

Tuesday or Thursday

Dates: 4/15 to 5/27  plus Championships

Times: 7pm - 11pm

7 Regular Season Games plus Championships 

2 - 20 minute halves          
Registration Deadline: April 10 , 2008
Who: Adult -19yrs and up 

Format: 5 v 5 plus a goalie

Coed Division: 4 Men and 2 Women on the court at all times. (5 court players plus a goalie) - We suggest a 10 player roster  

Price: $750 per team / $90 Individual - includes referee fees                                                           

Forfeit Fee: $50 - Pre Paid with a check or credit card with the Team Registration. Any unused portion of the Forfeit Fee will be returned at the end of the league.

 Teams are responsible for a referee fees of $10 per game

2008- COED YOUTH OPEN DEK Hockey 

DAY: Wednesdays

Starts :  2/13 to 4/9

Between  6pm - 9pm   

9 Weeks

Price: $65 pre paid  or $9.00 at the Door per night              

Age Groups & Times:

Ages 7 -9: 6:30 to 7:30

bullet

Ages 10-13: 7:30 to 8:30

bullet

Ages 14 -17: - 8:30 to 9:30

EQUIPMENT: All players will be required to wear the following equipment:

bullet Helmet with full-face cage/shield
bullet Approved street hockey shin pads
bullet Gloves
bullet DEK hockey stick
bullet Elbow pads

** Winning Edge will do it's best to form teams for Individual sign ups or place them on existing teams.

 

League OVERVIEW
      Plastic Floor Hockey Balls Will Be Used
      Ties during the Regular Season remain as a Tie

      Total Points Determines Standings:  3 points for a Win, 2 points for a Tie and 0 points for a Lose.

·         A running clock will be used for the entire game

·         Adult Teams must provide and wear their own goggles - not mandatory

          Men's League players must wear shin guards and gloves

·         High School & Youth Teams must provide and wear approved shin pads, elbow pads (highly recommended); Dek hockey approved stick, any 

          style gloves (fingers cannot show), and a full helmet with a cage

·         Adult Coed played in (2) 20-minute halves with a 3 minute half-time break   (2 minutes between games)

           Adult Men's played in (3) 15 -minute periods with a 3 minute break between periods  (2 minutes between games)

·         Youth Games played in (2) 15 -minute halves with a 3 minute half-time break   (2 minutes between games)

·         Games will Start at their Scheduled Times.

·          NO CHECKING, HIGH STICKING ROUGHING ETC.

·         Sudden Death overtime/Shootout will be used only in the playoffs

·         Players per side: 5 v 5 plus goalie

·         Coed League: 4 men and 2 women (4 men max.)

·         Players must provide their own equipment ( including the goalies)
